Hyderabad: Mushtaq Malik condemns JNU violence

Hyderabad: On Sunday, 5 January 2020, some unidentified mob entered the JNU campus and attacked the teachers and students of JNU.

The Joint Action Committee of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh has condemned the attack on JNU. Mohammed Mushtaq Malik, convenor of JAC said that this attack pointed to the barbarism of ABVP and RSS outfits.

“Such attacks should be condemned by each and every person in the country. The students cannot be attacked for political gains,” he added.

The JAC also condemned the registration of criminal cases against the Million March organizers and participants. The police registered around 25 cases against the organizers of Million March.

The JAC convenor said: “The program passed off peacefully yet the police registered cases. We are not afraid of anyone and if they think, the cases will stop the movements, they are wrong,” as quoted by Telangana Today.

Mushtaq Malik also said that to create awareness on the CAA-NRC-NPR, the JAC is planning to hold a door-to-door campaign across the state.
