Hyderabad: A newlywed bride committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan in her bedroom. This incident took place in Vanasthalipuram.
As per the details of the case, the woman, aged 25, who was a resident of Malakpet got married to a person, Santosh, resident of Vanasthalipuram on 8th December 2019.
On Friday, after finding her wife dead, Santosh informed the police.
Possible reason behind suicide
According to the preliminary investigation of the police, it was found that after the marriage, the couple used to fight on various issues. It is also suspected that the woman might have taken this extreme step due to depression over the fights.
The family of the deceased held her husband responsible for her death. They alleged that she committed suicide due to his harassment.
Police registered a case and started investigation. The body of the deceased was handed over to the family members after conducting a postmortem.
