Hyderabad: In the Old City of Hyderabad, a 17-year-old Omani girl was reportedly kidnapped on Friday. This incident took place in Jahanuma area, Falaknuma.
According to the report published in Telangana Today, the mother of the girl, Rabia Begum approached the police and lodged a complaint. She alleged that a person by name Ateeq, a resident of Hafeezbabanagar had kidnapped her daughter.
As per the details furnished by Ms. Rabia, the girl was born to her through her first husband, an Omani. She further said that police picked up the family members of Ateeq after she lodged a complaint, however, later, they were allowed to go.
Giving the details of the case, Mr. Srinivasa Rao, Station House Officer, Falaknuma said that efforts are being made to trace the girl.
