Hyderabad: Police detained the burkah clad students near Charminar on Thursday as they came to join the protest which was to be held at the historic monument. The police said they did not have permission to hold the rally against CAA and NRC, the laws that triggered waves of defiance against the Central government. Police took several men and women into custody, many of them were released later.
