Hyderabad: Vijaya Sahara Shalini who is a second-year student in Dr. BR Ambedkar Degree College is suffering from cancer. She needs Rs. 25 lakhs for her treatment.
According to the report published in Telangana Today, her classmates and friends have pooled Rs. 8 lakhs so far. In order to arrange another Rs.17 lakhs, they are organizing event, “Sketch for Shalini”.
It may be mentioned that recently, she was diagnosed with blood cancer. As her family cannot afford her treatment, her friends and classmates decided to raise funds through different sources.
They have also sought help from TRS Working President, Mr. KT Rama Rao.
The efforts of these students to help their friend in fighting against cancer are worth appreciating.
