Hyderabad: Manager of a supermarket chain and his cousin, both, were arrested by the Uppal Police after it solved the murder mystery of their relative auto rickshaw driver M Sai Prasad by hitting him with beer and soda bottles.
The accused were identified as victim’s cousins, S. Uday Shankar, 23, manager at D-Mart, Sanathnagar, and G. Srikanth, 33, security guard both are now in police custody, DC reports.
According to police, the duo first got the victim drunk and later took him to a bar where he was brutally assaulted using beer and soda bottles.
They did first aid for the victim and later dropped him at his home where he is reported to have died to his injuries.
