Hyderabad: US bound woman goes missing leaving 2 sons

Hyderabad: A woman who was to return back to the US after spending the vacation with her family in the city reportedly went missing from her house, sources said.

According to reports, 29-year-old M Amrutha wife of A Prakash had come along with her husband and two sons to the city in November last year to spend their vacation in the city, TT reports.

While Prakash returned back on January 1, Amrutha along with her children was to join him on Monday after she had booked flight tickets.

Amrutha’s went missing on Saturday from her mother-in-law’s house located in Chikkadpally.

“Amrutha’s mother who stays at Nallakunta told us that she had met her on Friday in Chikkadpally. The next day, she received a call from her daughter’s mother-in-law saying that Amrutha is missing,” Chikkapally Sub-Inspector P Prem Kumar.

Police said Amrutha went alone leaving her two sons at home and never returned.

The missing complaint was filed by Amrutha’s mother at the Chikkapally police Station.

The Police officials have registered a case and are now making efforts to trace her.
