Hyderabad: ‘Work from home jobs’ fraud busted, woman held

Hyderabad: Fraud related to work from home jobs came to limelight in Hyderabad wherein, a woman collected Rs. 2500 per candidate after making a promise to provide them work from home jobs.

The accused is identified as M. Shalini (24), a resident of Chilkalguda, Secunderabad. The woman in collaboration with her companion, B. Balaraju, resident of Ramanthapur, Uppal received applications from many unemployed youths with a promise to provide them work from home jobs.

After collecting Rs. 2500 from each candidate, she used to give them worksheets with a promise that they would get a remuneration of Rs. 90 per sheet.

After collecting huge amounts, the woman and her companion disappeared. Later, Malkajgiri Police successful traced them out. Both were arrested and presented in the court.
