Hyderabadis suffering from ‘insomnia’ – Survey report may surprise you

Hyderabad: Residents of Hyderabad are sleeping less due to unhealthy lifestyle and stress. Many are suffering from insomnia, a sleep disorder in which people have trouble sleeping.

According to the report published in Times of India, 79% of the Hyderabadi residents are suffering from insomnia. 25% of the residents sleep less than 7 hours.

As per the survey conducted by Wakefit.co, 48% of the people sleep between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m., 81% feel sleepy 1-3 days a week and 89% wake up one or two times a night. The survey report also revealed that 28% of the people stay awake in the nights watching shows on either laptops or smartphones.

Another 23% stay awake in the night worrying about either work or finances, claimed survey.

Speaking on the survey report, Mr. Ankit Garg, Co-Founder and CEO of Wakefit.co said that lack of sleep results in many health issues.
