Hyderabad: Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is playing a key role indirectly for destroying terror bases in Pakistan.
It may be mentioned that DRDO manufactured bombs using latest laser technology. Missiles equipped with these bombs were said to have been used in destroying terror bases in Pakistan. In this way, the role of Hyderabad in eradicating terrorism is worth mentioning. However, the officials of defense have been instructed to keep their lips tight and hence they have not been able to give any details.
It is reported that 1000 kg bomb used in the recent aerial strike against terrorists were prepared in the defence research laboratories at Hyderabad.
