‘Ideal Teaching Awards’ Presented to 150 Teachers

Hyderabad: Mr. Mohammad Mahmood Ali Minister for Home said that Teachers like Parents should be given respect as they are the ones who mold a student for life.

Speaking as a Chief guest of honor at the Ideal Teaching Awards 2019 a  recognition given to Innovative Teachers for their Innovative Teaching methods initiated by Tutors Pride Mr.Mohammad  Mahmood Ali he said that Teachers play an imperative role in the society as they are the turning point in the Life of a student.

Stating that the Government of Telangana was giving lot of importance to Education he said that Government was providing lot of benefits to SCs,STs BCs and Minorities and was spending thousands of rupees on each student in Government schools to provide them education on par with Corporate schools. He pointed out that if the State should have a good future Education is important. Without education there can be no development. Hence the State Government under K Chandrashekhar Rao was giving a lot of priority to quality education for students in Government schools.

Recalling his childhood memories when they were canned by the Teachers on hands for coming late  that a child cannot improve if he does not adhere to his teacher who is always praying for the success of his students and cited the example of Kohinoor diamond which was found in the Golkonda fort in the form of a stone and when it was cut and polished it turned out to be the largest diamond the Kohinoor diamond . He said that students life depends on Teachers and therefore students are what they are because of them.

Mr. Jagdish Reddy Minister for Education lauded the Tutors pride for selecting some efficient Teachers for the awards and said that the awards ceremony has been organized at an apt time October 2nd the birthday of the Mahatma. He said that out of 2000 application 150 teachers were selected for the Award to commemorate the 150th birthday of the Mahatma Gandhi which is commendable. He, however, said that things need to improve in rural areas because many times due to low marks students don’t come forward but things are changing he added He also paid rich tributes to his teacher and said that whatever he is today is because of his Hindi and Math teachers. He further highlighted the various programs being taken up by the State Government to ensure quality education and said that the Government will ensure the development of professional skills.

Mr. Chukka Rammiah Educationist in his address said that the education system should be preserved. Students are coming up with new innovations. Teachers should also encourage such innovative thoughts among students. Stating that whatever he has achieved today is because of his students. Calling upon the people not to highlight the ten percent bad but look at 90 good he said that education requires a lot of changes as one has to have innovative techniques and one must keep oneself abreast with the latest. He urged the teachers and students to keep updating themselves and keep adapting to newer techniques. The teacher is a Teacher at any place and they should be respected he added.

On the occasion, Mr.R.B Ankam Chairman Tutors Pride and Satya Year  Managing Trustee Raja Ratna Health care were also present. Awards were presented to  150 Teachers for the innovative teaching methodologies as part of the 150th Gandhi Jayanthi celebrations.
