If one is closer to power portals, his Illegal trade flourishes

Hyderabad: Getting closer to power centers can benefit people in more than one ways. One can flourish in illegal trade, get contracts, setup marriage halls and a lot of things.

Such people even if they transact illegal business, usurp lands in the vicinity of tanks, there is no one to question them.

The hard-earned money of the public which is paid to the Govt. in the form of taxes goes into the pockets of such contractors who donate huge amounts to politicians.

It will be interesting to note that the contracts for renovating Makkah Masjid, Charkaman and other buildings were given to a Mumbai firm which had campaigned for TRS in the elections.

The contract of Makkah Masjid repairs was given to this firm despite objections raised by the Archaeological Department. This company claimed expertise in whitewashing and bagged the contract but the work was assigned to a sub-contractor.

The contracts of repair work pertaining to Mahboob Chowk Clock Tower and Moazzamjahi Market Clock Tower were given to a Mumbai firm Laxmi Hericon Pvt. Ltd. It is managed by two brothers namely; Srinivas Gangadher Silge and Gopal Gangadhar Silge.

Mr. Srinivas is the President of Maharashtra Branch of Telangana Jagruti, an organization run by KCR’s daughter, Ms. K. Kavita.
