IMD issues high alert for AP

Visakhapatnam: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a high alert for Andhra Pradesh for the next few days.

According to reports, low pressure was formed under the influence of a cyclonic circulation over southwest and adjoining west central region of Bay of Bengal, TOI reports.

Heavy to extremely heavy downpour is expected in parts of the state for next few days in AP.

The IMD has issued advisory for Fishermen not to venture into the sea till any further instructions from IMD.
