Hyderabad: A heart-touching video posted by Animal Aid Unlimited (AAU), India, a week ago on their YouTube channel has left netizens emotional and teary-eyed. Soon the clip went viral and has been viewed by over 18 lakh times since posted on August 28.
According to the clip, the rescue team of the AAU received a phone call that a mother dog was howling; crying out for help.
The AAU team sensed something was wrong and rushed to the spot to find a stray dog trying to dig her puppies out of the debris of a collapsed house.
In the video, the stray dog can be seen whining near the debris. The rescuer started removing the rubble. The worried mother too lent her to help the rescuers in removing the rubble. She is seen whining even as she directs the rescuers to the troubled spot.
The rescue team was not sure whether the puppies were alive until they heard the shrill cries of puppies. To their amazement, they found the babies alive.
Subsequently, all the puppies were taken to a safer place. All this while the mother dog did not leave her litter even for even a second.
The rescuers fed the mother dog and arranged for some warm blankets so that the mother dog can rest and feed her puppies.
After the video was shared online, many appreciated the effort of the rescue team as well as the resilience of the dog.
