Inter results fiasco: Congress demands judicial probe, RS 25 lakh relief to each student

Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader Mohammed Ali Shabbir was today arrested in an early morning swoop by the Jubilee Hills police and prevented from participating in the Opposition sponsored dharna at the office of Telangana State Intermediate Board of Education.

The senior Congress leader demanded that the State government take immediate action against Education Minister, secretary of Board of Intermediate Education Ashok and the prime accused in the scandal Globarina firm and arrest of all officials concerned. The Congress also demanded that the government order a judicial enquiry into the Intermediate results scandal and announce Rs 25 lakh as compensation to the kin of each deceased student.
Shabbir slams KCR, KTR

In a statement, Shabbir Ali said Chief Minister KCR and TRS working president KTR were “blind” to stark neglect by Intermediate Board and private agency which had ruined the lives of lakhs of students. He said the TRS government was trying to hush up the “dirty handiwork of Globerina company. He also said KTR disowned the Globarina company with a Twitter comment instead or ordering a probe , he added.
