Piece of iron wire found in Biryani; hotel fined Rs 5000 by GHMC

Hyderabad: The GHMC officials issued a fine of Rs 5000 to Raja Vari Ruchulu hotel which is located in Kukatpally for negligence.

According to reports, Srinivas Bellam, a resident of Kukatpally had complained that he had ordered chicken biryani and curd rice on January 15 from the hotel through Zomato.

β€œWhile eating biryani, I felt something odd in my mouth. When I removed it, I realized it was a piece of iron wire,” Srinivas said.

He then took a picture of that and shared it on twitter to highlight the issue.

GHMC zonal commissioner of Kukatpally, V Mamatha, took note of the incident shared on twitter and sent a team to the restaurant to inspect its premises and issued a fine of Rs5000 for the lapse.
