It is wrong to associate terrorism with religion; Maulana Mahmood Madani meets Cardinal Gracias

Mumbai: General Secretary of Jamiat-ul-Ulema of India called on President of Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India, Oswald Cardinal Gracias at his residence in Mumbai.

Both the leaders reviewed in detail, the incident which took place in Sri Lanka and aftermath. At the end of the meeting, both the leaders issued a joint statement in which they stressed that it is wrong to associate terrorism with any religion. In fact, it is humiliating any religion and faith.

Maulana Madani expressed the solidarity of the Indian Muslims for the Christians and said that they are with them. He also declared that Cardinal Gracias will be the Chief Guest of the Eid Milap Function to be organized by Jamiat-ul-Ulema in New Delhi after the Ramzan.
