Jagan is politicising his own uncle’s murder: Chandrababu Naidu

Visakhapatnam: Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday took a jibe at YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, alleging that the latter is ‘politicizing’ the murder of his own uncle, YS Vivekananda Reddy.

Vivekananda Reddy was found dead at his residence in Pulivendula town of Kadapa district in the wee hours of March 15.

Jagan had, on March 16, demanded the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe the murder of his uncle while repeatedly blaming Naidu for the death.

While addressing an event here, Naidu targeted the YSRCP over disruption of law and order in the state. “If YSRCP comes to power, law and order situation will be affected badly. There will be no safety for lives. They will indulge in murders, loots for electoral gains. If such criminals win the election, what will happen to the future of the young generations?” he added.

Naidu accused Jagan of colluding with the Chief Minister of Telangana, Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao, for “political gains” and urged people to teach him a “lesson”.

The Chief Minister also claimed that only those who don’t have any public support are leaving TDP, days after TDP leaders – Adala Prabhakar Reddy, Vanga Geetha, and Magunta Sreenivasulu Reddy announced their decision to join YSRCP.
