NEW DELHI: AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi challenges the PM Modi to identify the gun-wielding man from his clothes following the shooting at Jamia Millia Islamia where a journalism student sustained bullet injuries.
Minutes after the gunman identified himself as Rambhakt Gopal opened fire on anti-CAA protesters, the Hyderabad politician in a series of tweets challenged PM Modi to “identify him by his clothes”.
The sharply-worded tweets by Owaisi was a reference to PM Modi‘s “you can easily make out who is spreading violence by the clothes they wear” remark.
Owaisi also blames the MoS Finance Anurag Thakur’s ‘goli maaro saalon ko’ slogan ‘for inciting’ Jamia shooting.
Thakur’s controversial “Goli Maaro” comments were made during a public meeting in Delhi’s Rithala assembly constituency on January 27.
