‘Janta maaf nahi karegi’: BJP’s releases video advertisement targetting Congress

New Delhi: As the 17th Lok Sabha elections are approaching, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unveiled an advertisement titled ‘Janta Maaf Nahi karegi’ attacking the opposition.

Even this time the BJP has used its popular electoral slogan which was used in the 2014 General elections. The video shows a woman who is seen attacking the opposition for raising questions on the works done by the BJP in the last five years.

In the 39 seconds video, the woman says: “When the world is lauding India, you are questioning the World Bank. Questions after questions. You are questioning the surgical strike and air strike. You are questioning China fleeing from Doklam.”

She further added that “You are questioning the statue of Sardar (Patel). You are questioning the Supreme Court. If you have lost elections, then you are raising questions on EVMs. Those who are raising fingers, even this time people will not forgive you.”

As election campaigning is in full swing, political parties including Congress and BJP are leaving no stones unturned to target their opponents.

The Lok Sabha polls are scheduled to be conducted in seven phases from April 11 to May 19. Counting of votes will take place on May 23.
