Hyderabad: Noted social activist and famous swimmer, Mr. Jeelani Pairak breathed his last in the wee hours today.
The funeral prayer will be offered at Jamia Masjid, Mallepally after Zohar prayer. His body will be laid to rest at the Muslim graveyard adjacent to Masjid-e-Hamgiri.
It may be mentioned that he promoted swimming in Hyderabad. He had started many social and cultural organizations including Faiz Memorial International Organization. He was elected as Municipal Councillor in the Erstwhile Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
