Jharkhand Assembly Election Results: AIMIM fails to open account

Jharkhand: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen  (AIMIM) failed to open an account in Jharkhand Assembly Election Results. It failed to win even a single seat in the Assembly elections of the State.

The party had contested eight seats in the State. In Jamshedpur West, the candidate of the party, Reyaz Sharif managed to get just only 4.16% of the total vote share whereas, in Mahagama seat, AIMIM’s Ashok Kumar Singh got 2.92% of the total vote share.

It may be mentioned that the party had recently entered the Hindi belt by winning the Kishanganj assembly seat.

In Maharashtra Assembly polls, the party had contested 44 seats. However, it won two seats.
