Lucknow: Amidst prevailing restlessness in Muslim quarters following the announcement by All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) to file a review petition challenging Supreme Court’s verdict on Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi title suit, the convener All India Babri Masjid Action Committee Zafaryab Jilani issued a media appeal. He said the decision to file review petition has been taken after taking into consideration all aspects.
Without naming anyone, he said, if some people have objection they can go to their respective cities and towns and seek the opinion of Muslims and inform the Board about that instead of issuing media statements.
In the appeal issued to media, Zafaryab Jilani appealed imams, community leaders and Muslim organisations to avoid issuing statements on such a sensitive issue.
