Jio Fiber, Airtel broadband or ACT fiber? Data Plans, features

With Reliance launching Jio Fiber stirring optic fiber broadband service in Indian, the telecom giant has loads of many features to offer its users.

With Airtel, ACT Fibernet, Spectra already having huge subscribed customers, Jio Fiber’s competition against these will be tough with other local internet broadbands also having cheaper broadband plans, HT reports.

Jio Fiber’s data plans range between Rs 699 and Rs 8,499 per month along with annual subscriptions with multiple data plans to choose from depending on the consumer’s usage.

Users with minimum data requirement can opt for Jio’s basic data plan.

Here’s a look at what Jio Fiber and Airtel V-Fiber is offering to its consumers under its basic plans.

Jio Fiber

Bronze Plan or the basic plan is priced at Rs 699 per month offers 100Mbps speed with 150GB data in total similar to that of ACT fiber but at a lesser cost.

The plan also provides free voice calls, TV video calling, gaming, home networking, and Norton security for up to five devices with ccess to three months of Jio Cinema and Jio Saavn.

Jio’s silver plan is priced for Rs 849 per month with 100Mbps speed, 400GB data in total with three months access to OTT apps and other similar features that come with the basic plan.

Reliance Jio Fiber service has a one-time payment of Rs 2,500, that has Rs 1,500 as security deposit were the users will also get a digital set-top-box and landline connection for free.

Airtel V-Fiber

Airtel V-Fiber data plans compared to Jio fiber’s are slightly higher with the basic plans starting at Rs 799 per month.

Airtel like Jio provides 150GB data, 100Mbps speed and unlimited local/STD calls. In terms of entertainment, Airtel broadband plan comes with Airtel Thanks benefits including Amazon Prime 1 year membership and 3 months Netflix subscription.

Airtel’s second plan is priced at Rs 999 while it offers 300GB data at 200Mbps speed.

The plan also gives access to Airtel Thanks benefits compatible with Airtel Xstream service. The installation charges are Rs 1,000 installation chargers plus the users will also get a Wi-Fi router for free.

Well according to us, Reliance Jio does not lack in comparison to price or the amount of data given but those hooked on Amazon Prime, Netflix Airtel broadband is for you even though it is slightly higher in price.
