J&K: RSS would have trolled if Devendar Singh were a Khan

NEW DELHI: Congress Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on Tuesday said that if the arrested Kashmir DSP Devinder Singh been “Davinder Khan”, the reaction of “troll regiment of the RSS” would have been more veciferous.

The 57-year-old officer was arrested while taking two top Hizbul Mujahideen militants Naveed Babu and Asif Ahmad and a lawyer Rafi Ahmad to Jammu in a car in South Kashmir on Saturday.

“Had Davindar Singh by default been Davindar Khan, the reaction of troll regiment of RSS would have been more strident and vociferous. Enemies of our country ought to be condemned irrespective of colour, creed and religion,” Chowdhury said on Twitter.

“The chink in the armour is exposed in the Valley much to the consternation of us, we can not afford ourselves to be penny wise and pound foolish,” he said.

“Now, the question will certainly be arisen as to who were the real culprits behind the gruesome Pulwama incident, need a fresh look on it,” Chowdhury said.

BJP tears into Congress

The BJP on Tuesday lashed out at the Congress and said there should be a “democratic surgical strike” on the grand old party.

“Congress has done exactly what it is capable of — to attack India and save Pakistan,” alleged BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra.
