JUH gives scholarship to both Hindu and Muslim students

New Delhi: Jamiatul Ulema Hind (JUH), an organization of Muslim scholars, is known for its welfare and rehabilitation activities beyond the caste, creed, and religious considerations.   Like its help to the needy in all walks of life, it is providing scholarships to Hindu students along with Muslims belonging to various states of India.  The amount of the scholarship has been doubled amounting to Rs.1 crore. 

The JUH has started giving regular Scholarships since 2012.  Before this, the scholarships were given individually.  But in 2012 a regular committee “Education Aid Fund” was constituted to grant scholarships to students including a sizeable number of Hindus.  All those Hindu students who meet JUH criteria were granted scholarships.

JUH has granted scholarships to 656 students during the academic year 2020-2021. The courses for which JUH grants scholarships are Medical: MBBS, BDS, BUMS, M.D. Pharmacy, Nursing, B.Tech, PolyTech;  Graduation: B.Sc. B.Com, B.Com, B.A.LLB, BCA, Mass Communication; Post Graduation: M.A, M.Com, M.Sc  MCA, as well as Diploma Poly Tech, ITI, B.Ed, M.Ed etc.
