Mumbai: Maharashtra Govt. may consider reopening Justice Loya death case if it receives a complaint with substantial evidence. This was disclosed by NCP Spokesperson and State Minister, Nawab Malik.
After a three-hour-long meeting of NCP ministers which was presided by Sharad Pawar, Malik said that there will be no probe without sufficient reason.
It may be mentioned that Special CBI Judge B H Loya had died of cardiac arrest in Nagpur on 1st December 2014. He was hearing Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case.
Earlier, the Supreme Court had declared that Justice Loya had died of “natural causes”. The court had also rejected PILs seeking probe into the death case.
