New Delhi: IAS Officer, Dr. Syed Sehrish Asgar and IPS Officer, Ms. P.K. Nitya are playing key role in the Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the report published in Times of India, Dr. Sehrish who was recently appointed as Director of Information in Jammu and Kashmir administration is helping people to make phone call to their near and dear ones.
It may be mentioned that the usual role of the Director of Information is to make people aware of the Govt. schemes.
Background of Sehrish
Sehrish, an MBBS had cleared the UPSC after quitting her profession. Her husband is holding the post of Commissioner of Pulwama.
P.K. Nitya
On the other hand, Ms. P.K. Nitya is responsible for the area between Ram Munshi Bagh and Harvan Dagchi village. The area has the residence of the Governor. It also has buildings where VIPs have been detained.
Background of Nitya
Nitya, a native of Chhattisgarh had completed Chemical Engineer. Later, she had worked as a Manager in cement company.
