Kavitha files nomination, vows to serve people

Hyderabad: Sitting MP K Kavitha today filed her nomination for Nizamabad Lok Sabha seat in her home segment here. She, accompanied by party leaders filed a few sets of nomination papers to the returning officer in Nizamabad.

Earlier, Kavitha took blessings of her family members at home and proceeded to a Hanuman Temple in Sarangapur. She performed special pujas and took blessings of the priests after putting nomination papers at the feed of Lord Hanuman.

Speaking to mediapersons later, Kavitha said she will be in the forefront to serve the segment if the people vote her to the Parliament again. “This time, I will work better for the development of the segment and the welfare of the people”, she vowed. Kavitha also said that the TRS has to win 16 MP seats in the upcoming LS polls. She expressed confidence that the people will bless the TRS to win the MP seats and have our voice heart at the parliament. We can achieve our rights for state development by winning 16 MP seats Kavitha stated. During the past five years our MPs have fought with the government for funds used for development of Telangana she said.
