Hyderabad: Several Congress leaders, including Sarpanches in Jagtial district, today joined the ruling party in the presence of Nizamabad MP and daughter of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao Kavitha.
The Nizamabad MP welcomed the Congress leaders to the TRS fold by offering pink shawls to them. Those who joined the TRS include Sarpanches, upa-sarpanches and ward members and others of Thalla Dharmaram, Chitraneni Gudem, Kandlapelly. They joined the TRS at the party office in the presence of Jagtial TRS MLA Sanjay Kumar in the presence of Kavitha.
