KCR plans to field Kavitha from Huzurabad seat

Hyderabad: The TRS has plans to clinch victory from the vacant Huzurabad Assembly segment that was vacated by TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy upon winning as MP from Nalgonda segment. The TRS supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao reportedly asked party working president KT Rama Rao to focus on the seat to be in the party kitty.

According to informed sources, the Chief Minister was planning to rope in his daughter former MP Kavitha from this segment and win the fray. Keeping in view the stiff competition from the Congress, the ruling party was making every effort to win that seat. Sources said the Congress was also planning to rope in former MLA Padmavathi Utham Kumar Reddy from this segment.

The Congress announced that it would retain the seat and will not give any chance to the ruling party. At this juncture, the TRS was weighing pros and cons for the segment which has now become prestigious for the ruling party. The ruling party plans to win the by-poll at any cost by fielding a strong candidate like Kavitha.
