Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader and Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Sunday slammed TRS working president KTR for ignoring his constituency. He alleged that works pertaining to the construction of a road between Thatti Annaram crossroads to Pedda Amberpet, estimated to cost Rs 5.8 crore, have not yet been taken up even one year after laying foundation stone by KTR.
Venkat Reddy alleged that KTR had laid the foundation stone to woo the people of Ibrahimpatnam Assembly constituency. He alleged that government issued orders for taking up development works before the Assembly elections, but works were not taken up so far. Noting that KTR responds quickly on twitter, he demanded that the TRS working president respond on the issue raised by him on the same platform.
He also demanded that the State government take up pending works of the road construction immediately. He said KTR should tender an apology to the people of his constituency by stating that he laid the foundation stone of the works only to get their votes.
