“Mera paani utarta dekh, mere kinaare par ghar mat basaa lena. Mera paani utarta dekh, mere kinaare par ghar mat basaa lena. Mai samudra hoon, laut kar wapas aonga,” ((Thinking the tide has ebbed, don’t you dare build your house on the coast, for I am the sea, and I will come back),” he said, quoting a famous couplet.

Noteworthy, the same couplet was used by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, when he was arrested in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh encounter case in 2010, under the former Home Minister P Chidambaram, India TV reported.

Sohrabuddin was allegedly killed in police custody in 2005 when Shah was then Home Minister in Gujarat state government and PM Modi was then Chief Minister of Gujarat.
