Tirunelveli [TN]: A love story ended in tragedy after both the man and woman committed suicide. They took this extreme step after the parents of the man rejected the marriage proposal of the couple.
As per the details of the case, the woman who is identified as Karpagam (25) had got married to a person a few years ago. However, after some time, the woman got separated from her husband and started working in a company.
Later, she came in contact with Maharajan (26) who was also an employee of the same company. When their friendship turned into a relationship, they joined another company and started living together.
Love story took turn
Their love story took a turn when Maharajan’s parents rejected their marriage proposal.
When the woman came to know about the decision of the man’s parents, she lodged a complaint against him.
Upset over her decision, the man committed suicide. Depressed over it, the woman also ended her life.
