Bihar: Kanhaiya Kumar, former president of JNU students’ union is contesting from Begusarai Parliamentary Constituency in Bihar.
It seems that this contest is between the supports of democracy and constitution and the forces which imposed demonetization and also vow to change constitution. He is getting support from all the left parties.
When asked by the reporters, Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar told that people have formed a front against Modi and BJP.
He pointed out that 111 farmers from Varanasi and Tamil Nadu have decided to fight against Modi.
It is reported that Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son, Tejeswe Yadav is unhappy over the filing of nomination of Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar since it would overshadow him.
Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar said that he is getting tremendous love and affection from the people. It may be noted that in all his protest meetings, many opposition leaders participated.
In an interview given to noted journalist, Mr. Rajdeev Sardesai, Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar said the contest in Begusarai is a straight fight. It will be between BJP and the common people. The contest is between Modi and his falsehood on one side and the people on other side.
