New Delhi: Maulana Mahmood Madani, General Secretary of Jamiat-ul-Ulema-e-Hind told that the statement given by Home Minister, Mr. Amit Shah on NRC is against the fundamental rights guaranteed in the Constitution of India.
He further told that the identification of citizens on the basis of their religious identity is in violation of articles 14 and 15 of the Constitution of India.
The statement of Mr. Shah clearly indicates that only the Muslims will be shut in the detention camps. If it happens, the image of India will be tarnished in the entire world.
