Mumbai: A man killed his friend last week in Bachraj Paradise Society in Virar, near Mumbai. The matter came to light after pieces of human flesh found blocking the sewage system of a society.
According to NDTV, Ganesh Vitthal Kolhatkar, 58, was killed by his friend, Pintoo, for not being able to pay a loan of Rs. 1 lakh. Pintoo invited Kolhatkar to his house on January 16, on the pretext of moving furniture. After having a few drinks, the men got into a scuffle over the unpaid loan. The argument led to the murder of Kolhatkar.
According to police sources, after killing Kolhatkar, Pintoo chopped the body into pieces and flushed them down the toilet over the course of four days.
