Hyderabad: A municipal MM court of Ibrahimpatnam on Tuesday convicted a 35-year-old man for assaulting and intending to outrage a house wife’s modesty in 2017.
The victim, wrote a petition letter to Yacharam police. Basing on the complaint a case was registered and the accused Mekam Ravi was arrested, during the trial the court has convicted him to undergo for 2 years rigorous imprisonment and slapped a fine of 2000 rupees.
According to the Victim, ageing 28 years residing in Yacharam, she was staying in her mother’s house after quarreling with her husband, on 4th December 2017 while she was in a kitchen the accused Mekam Ravi who was moving around her home since morning, tress passed into her house and closed the door.
The accused forced her with intend to outrage her modesty, when she raised hues and cry he assaulted her before running away.
