Hyderabad: In yet another shocking incident, three undergraduate students of a government college were impregnated by a man after he sexually assaulted them.
The incident is reported from Kumarambheem-Asifabad district, following which a general health checkup was carried out on the other 10 students as directed by the district child protection officer (DCPO), TOI reports.
The DCPO officials suspect the girls were sexually assaulted some time ago.
While two girls are pursuing BSc first year, the third victim is a second-year BSc student.
The incident came to light when a child rights activists alerted the authorities about the situation on November 21.
A complaint is yet to filed after victims revealed they were assaulted by a person who lived close to their houses.
A high-level probe has been demanded.
