New Delhi: A jealous lover suspicious over his girl friend having illicit relationship hacked his girlfriend to death was arrested by Delhi police on Friday.
The accused is a married man and was in live-in relationship with the victim identified as Payal with the consent of his wife said the police.
Ramdas suspects live-in partner
42-year-old Ram Das was arrested from Connaught Place while he was trying to flee the city after the committing the crime.
Surprisingly as it may sound the three partners were living together said the Police.
FIR filed against Ramdas
The Delhi Police registered an FIR against him under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code, a senior police officer stated.
According to reports, Payal was living with her sister for the past few weeks after a argument broke between her and Ramdas over buying a plot in the name of his wife.
Payal’s throat slit, left to bleed
Things turned awry for Payal when visited Das. Angry Das allegedly killed her by scarring her throat with a wooden rod.
He pulled Payal’s body to the bathroom, locked it and attempted to flee the city.
During interrogation, he confessed to committing the crime, police said.
