Noida: Police arrested a 24-year-old man for stalking a woman on social media. The brother of the woman in his complaint alleged that the motive behind man’s stalking is to harass her.
According to the report published in The Hans India, the accused is identified as Rajat Shrivastava, an employee of a private company.
It may be mentioned that the accused and the woman know each other for several years. However, due to some issue, the woman had asked the man to stay away.
As per the details provided by Senior Police Officer Mr. Manoj Kumar Pant, the accused was stalking the woman on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The accused had also threatened to post their photographs on social media.
Noida Police booked the accused under relevant charges and seized the mobile phone and SIM card used to commit the crime.
