Hyderabad: Dr. Aslam Parvaiz, VC of MANUU wrote a letter to President of India, who is also the Visitor of MANUU.
In his letter, he mentioned that the Chancellor of MANUU has misused the name of the Ministry of HRD and the position of the chancellor by issuing a misleading statement.
Dr. Aslam Parvaiz clarified that he stepped down on personal grounds in order to save the dignity of the institution.
He has a copy of the report of the inquiry committee set up by Ministry of HRD which supports his actions. He lamented that in the past also, the Chancellor of MANUU made an attempt to tarnish the image of the university.
