It may be mentioned that the area near the masjid is witnessing tension since GHMC officials had dismantled the 400-year-old masjid. After which, stone pelting took place at the spot.
When tension got escalated, Mr. Singh visited the spot. However, he was immediately taken into police custody as a precautionary measure. Later, he was released.
Since then, Mr. Singh has been trying hard to stop the reconstruction of masjid.
You all have seen the way Hyderabad police acted & arrested me for protesting against illegal construction of mosque.

Earlier, in a video message, he said, “Ek nayee ‘Ayodhya’ ko janam na de” (We don’t want any other #Ayodhya to be made in #Hyderabad).
