Math sir teaching ‘love equations’ in women’s college, video goes viral

NEW DELHI: A video of Mathematics teacher from Haryana giving his women students ‘love equations’ lessons was doing rounds on social media platforms.

In the video shot by first year B.Com students, Assistant Professor Charan Singh from Government PG College in Sector 14 in Karnal can be seen giving lessons based on ‘attraction and closeness’ by breaking down the four stages of love – friendship, attraction, crush and romance.

He wrote three formulas on the board.

In the first, he wrote: ‘Closeness minus Attraction = Friendship’.

Secondly, Closeness plus Attraction = Romantic love and lastly, ‘Attraction minus Closeness = Crush

“Husband and wife become friends in old age after the physical attraction dies down. The feeling of love comes when both the partners get attracted to each other. Both will quarrel with each other if the closeness is missing.”

Then the professor asked the students what would be the combination of ‘closeness’ and ‘attraction’ to which the students responded ‘love’

“In foreign countries, people change vehicle, house and even spouse if any of the ingredients are missing. Whereas in India, people continue with the relationship even if closeness and attraction are missing but this is good for the children,” Charan Singh said.

Unfortunately, the video went viral and has led to the dismissal of the professor from the department of Mathematics.
