Maulana Syed Tariq Qadri criticizes KCR for running government with two members in TS cabinet

Hyderabad: Maulana Syed Tariq Qadri, Advocate, General Secretary of Sufi Academy and Former member of State Minorities Commission criticized Mr. KCR, Chief Minister of Telangana State for running the government with two members in TS Cabinet.

Expressing his views on Telangana Cabinet, he said that even after two months of formation of Telangana Govt., the state administration is being run by two member cabinet. TS cabinet can have 18 members, he added.

Talking about Muslim representation in Legislative Council and Rajya Sabha, he said that in the past four and half years, TRS has elected eight MPs for Rajya Sabha but none of them were Muslims. He recalled that Mr. KCR had promised to elect Muslim MLC and Rajya Sabha MP. He also criticized MIM Chief, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi over the issue.

Expressing his dissatisfaction over Lanco Hills and Wakf lands issues, he requested Mr. KCR to take interest in Lanco Hills case.

It may be mentioned that Maulana Syed Tariq Qadri had participated in the Telangana Movement in 1967. Later, he also participated in the agitation under the supervision of Mr. KCR.
