Lahore: Maulana Tariq Jameel, Pakistani religious writer, Islamic televangelist, scholar and a member of the Tablighi Jamaat Deobandi was rushed to a private hospital in Lahore on Thursday.
According to the report published in Oye Yeah, he was taken to hospital after he complained of chest pains.
Doctors at the hospital informed that Maulana Tariq Jameel underwent angioplasty. They also disclosed that the condition of the scholar is stable now.
They asked Maulana Tariq to take rest.
Meanwhile, his family requested people to pray for the speedy recovery of the scholar.
