Mayawati seeking vote for those who insulted Ambedkar, says UP CM

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said the BSP supremo Mayawati is seeking vote for those who insulted Dr B R Ambedkar.

“BSP supremo Mayawati is seeking vote for those who insulted Dr BR Ambedkar,” said Chief Minister Yogi, who on Saturday addressed three rallies in Bijnor, Farrukhabad, and Kannauj.

The Chief Minister expressed confidence that BJP will all 16 seats that went to the polls in the first two phases of the Lok Sabha election.

Calling the coalition of SP-BSP a ‘Mahamilawati Gathbandhan,’ Adityanath also targeted Congress, saying the “Congress party has given support to anti-national forces in its manifesto, which could be dangerous for the country.”

“Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had said that Muslims have first right on the resources of our country. The Congress government never paid attention toward the rights of poor farmers, Dalits or those who never get any aid from the government.”

Attacking the Congress party, Adityanath said: “Many terror incidents took place during the Congress government and our soldiers were martyred. But BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a befitting reply to terrorism and Naxalism.”
