Hyderabad: GHMC Mayor Dr. Bonthu Rammohan, along with Minister Srinivas Yadav, MLA Danam Nagender visited Khairtabad Ganesh Idol Pandal and enquired about the arrangements with the officials of GHMC and Police here today.
Dr. Rammohan asked the Zonal Commissioner Musharaff Ali, Chief Engineer Zia Uddin about the road repair works and lighting and instructed that road repair works be completed well in advance and lighting arrangements and proper sanitation should be maintained.
The Police officials informed that all security arrangements were made and the required number of C.C. Cameras at important points were installed.
Further, the Mayor asked the GHMC officials to provide Toilets as large number of devotees visits during Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. He said all necessary arrangements are being provided like barricading, lighting, available of Cranes, Health Camps, water camps, etc to enable smooth flow of procession.
Further, the Mayor appealed to the public to utilize the Ganesh ponds provided at various places in GHMC to ease the traffic problem.
Deputy Commissioner, Ms. Geetha Radika, and senior officials from GHMC, HMDA and police Department participated in the visit.
