Meet Tanmay Bakshi youngest IBM Watson programmer

Greater Noida: A 15-year-old Tanmay Bakshi is the youngest IBM Watson programmer. He started coding at the age of five. Over a period of time, he learned how to utilize machine learning in fields such as banking and finance, healthcare, medicine, music and chatbots etc.

Tanmay is not only a programmer but also a trainer. He trains kids and novice developers.

According to Wikicelebinfo, his parents are Puneet and Sumita Bakshi. Tanmay’s father who is a programmer had moved to Canada in 2004.

It may be mentioned that Tanmay had born in India in 2003.

Recently, at an event in Greater Noida, Tanmay said that fake news and hate speeches etc can be handled using Artificial Intelligence, Hindustan Times reported.

Tanmay disclosed that he was the victim of fake news as someone had uploaded his TED Talk videos on Facebook with a caption claiming that he works for Google.

At the event, he spoke on how social media including Facebook is detecting fake news.
