‘Mera Parivar Bhajapa Parivar’: BJP launches outreach campaign, aims to hoist party flag at 5 crore houses

NEW DELHI: Ahead of the Lok Sabha election which is due by May, the BJP leaders across the country today put up the party flag at their homes and posted pictures on the social media with #MeraParivarBhajapaParivar (My family, BJP family).

“This BJP flag is a symbol of development, belief and nationalism, and shows how appeasement, casteism and family rule is ending in the (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi era,” said BJP president Amit Shah as he followed the ritual at his home in Gujarat.

The campaign seeks to cover over five crore houses of its workers and supporters across the country till March 2 and will be executed in four phases. It may touch up to 20 crore people if a house has an average of four residents.

Party President Amit Shah appealed to the people to put up flags, click pictures with the same and post on social media to ensure that the Narendra Modi government comes wins the Lok Sabha election.

He urged people to share their photos with the hashtag #MeraPariwarBhajapaPariwar. BJP sources say the drive is a part of the party’s mass mobilisation for the Lok Sabha election.
